Beautiful setting hut our service was very slow and there were lots of fruit flies as we were sat by the bar when mentioned to the server just ignored but was acknowledged later on leaving by the manager

Lovely restaurant with friendly. Unfortunately, falls short on the food. Partner had venison which he enjoyed, but wasn’t great. I went for pollo Milanese, thinly fried chicken with fresh halved tomatoes, Parmesan and rocket……sadly sides had to be ordered seperately and it didn’t come with a sauce (none of the sides would have gone with it), really could’ve done with a nice tomato sauce as it was very dry and monotonous to eat!. Definitely not worth the money.

We had a table booked for 18.15 on a Saturday evening. We were put upstairs, it was awful there were no other tables seated up there. There was no atmosphere at all, there was a door wedged open behind us where they were scraping plates. Not a great experience.

Had booked a table for my sons 30th and were put in a room upstairs with absolutely no atmosphere and really dingy- I had taken my son there before and he had wanted to go back as the restaurant was so lively and loved the restaurants decor- I had arranged before hand to have a birthday dessert and candle, I had told the waitress who it needed to go to- they forgot to do it and had to be nudged then gave it to the wrong person!

Disappointing Experience Despite the Hype We were recommended Sanremo as one of the best Italian restaurants in Bath, but sadly, it didn’t live up to expectations. The interior and setting were lovely, stylish and welcoming. The restaurant itself has a good atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately my wife's meal was not good. She had burrata with tomatoes, the tomatoes were hard and no flavour followed by spaghetti marinara which the prawns were overcooked, calamari was like rubber and the sauce was much too heavy. I had fried calamari followed by salmon and mussels, which was ok. They did take the price of my wife’s meal off but it was very disappointing after reading such good reports of the food.
Really bad food, and very overpriced. Looked so promising online.

Spent 1 and a half hours waiting for our food to be told the kitchen had missed the order, very frustrating as the restaurant is beautiful and we were looking forward to celebrating our anniversary.
Waited 2 hours for a starter 45 minutes for a round of drinks Decided to walk out and eat elsewhere
