We had the Sea Bass & Carbonara, both excellent quality and very obviously freshly cooked, fantastic!
So disappointed booked a table for 11 people 50th celebrations. Pre paid and pre ordered a week before as asked. Arrived to be seated ordered drinks, asked after our starters after 45 mins, we were given 2 plates that belonged to another table and were cold. Spoke to a manager who proceeded to tell me how busy they were downstairs! Mains arrived before starters were cleared away, Food was not great, not happy & very disappointed.

We went for a birthday dinner, we asked the restaurant to do something for the birthday girl, they said they would. Food was awful - one pasta dish was really sweet with biscuits on it, the meatballs were overcooked and sauce was sweet and gloopy. The restaurant made an effort of several other birthdays throughout our time there but forgot about our request until we refused to pay the service charge when we asked for the bill a while after our plates had been cleared. Restaurant is more style over substance.

I’ve eaten here before and it’s been great, I don’t really know what’s happened in the interim since we last ate here, but sometime-thing has gone wrong. I ordered chargrilled oysters with Nduja Butter as a starter, but the oysters arrived cold (raw), not cooked at all, and there was some type of cold spicey-ish sauce sprinkled on top!!! My main of Carbonara came with pasta that was undercooked. I’m really disappointed as I was looking forward to my meal and this normally excellent restaurant.

This was one of the worst italian meals ive experienced. Pasta was bland and the service not great. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Beautiful setting hut our service was very slow and there were lots of fruit flies as we were sat by the bar when mentioned to the server just ignored but was acknowledged later on leaving by the manager

Lovely restaurant with friendly. Unfortunately, falls short on the food. Partner had venison which he enjoyed, but wasn’t great. I went for pollo Milanese, thinly fried chicken with fresh halved tomatoes, Parmesan and rocket……sadly sides had to be ordered seperately and it didn’t come with a sauce (none of the sides would have gone with it), really could’ve done with a nice tomato sauce as it was very dry and monotonous to eat!. Definitely not worth the money.

We had a table booked for 18.15 on a Saturday evening. We were put upstairs, it was awful there were no other tables seated up there. There was no atmosphere at all, there was a door wedged open behind us where they were scraping plates. Not a great experience.

Had booked a table for my sons 30th and were put in a room upstairs with absolutely no atmosphere and really dingy- I had taken my son there before and he had wanted to go back as the restaurant was so lively and loved the restaurants decor- I had arranged before hand to have a birthday dessert and candle, I had told the waitress who it needed to go to- they forgot to do it and had to be nudged then gave it to the wrong person!
