I know that people love this place, and I have to say that other members of my party were more than happy with the food. I, however, had a very disappointing meal. It was the spaghetti marinara, which fits into my love of seafood and pasta. However, the calamari and the prawns were chewy and the sauce was very thick and glutinous. Was a little cramped especially on the side of 2 peoples. Lovely venue and destination though
I booked a table for my significant birthday thinking this was a nicer than average restaurant, but found lots of people were in tracksuit bottoms and hoodies, so don't bother dressing up. We waited an hour for our main course. My husband's fish ravioli was inedible due to the waxy taste. I had the tuna and another had the chicken which were both nice. Staff are odd but friendly, service slow. They charged us for the inedible pasta, and also an extra dessert which we didn't have. I wouldn't go back.
We were both happy with our meals and drinks but service could have been better. They did check if food was ok but no offer of more drinks, and they automatically add a service charge onto the bill and charge that to your card without asking or options.
Food was not good. Ordered a pasta dish which contained so much cheese it over powered everything. There was no issue sending it back. This was replaced with a pizza which was okay. The restaurant is big and being Saturday evening it was extremely loud.
Amazing place looks great, loved the atmosphere Waiter pressured us a lot to order Food not great but maybe what we ordered? Mussels were tiny pizza was bland Service charge added on without asking
So loud you cannot have a conversation. Very ordinary food

Genuinely the worst meal we have had. The food was terrible. The cheese and salumi were poor quality, the salumi in particular have not been kept at the right temperature s they had a stench. For £17 each they were genuinely awful. Nect came the Arancini that had no flavour. We did not make a complaint but left them. A waiter asked us what was wrong as we’d left them on the plate. This reason for the visit was my wife birthday, we were greeted by a lovely lady who seated us. I ordered a cocktail, &my wife a glass of bubbly, the drinks arrived mine was wrong. We then ordered oysters before our started which were tasty & well presented. Starters were sufficient and prompt. Main was disappointing Tuna, sauce was to over powering for the tuna.
