What a disappointment! We've gone the last 3 years. This is the first year they did the egg hunt at certain times and let the kids run crazy. I had my 3 year old daughter, my mom, myself and carrying in a carrier my 9 month old. My daughter got TRAMPLED at the 2 o'clock egg hunt. My mom and I were panicking because we lost sight of her, it was horrific. What happened to the trails (where the bunny was this year)??? The first year I went (3 easters ago) they had the 2 seperate trails, divided by ages, and constantly replenish... read more
This was a sad excuse for an egg hunt. Many small children didn't, better yet COULDN'T, get any eggs. I spent too much money to get in this place only to walk out angry cause my 16month old grand daughter didn't get any of the so called 40,000 eggs they had. Ive2been to many many egg hunt events over the last 20 some years and this was by far the worst ever. Kids and parents everywhere packed in a very small area for their so called egg hunt, not good. Needs to have age specific areas so ALL CHILDREN can have a chance. Not ... read more
I hope you explore other options for next years Easter egg hunt. We were there for 2 hunts and I had3 kids and we left with 7 egg. Kids in the front of the line had garage bags full of eggs! We were in line for the hunt 30 minutes prior to the start time and still didn't get much! I would have rather donated the price of this event to a church event. Highly disappointed in this event!!
I think it's a little pricey for such little to see, our little boy enjoyed the alligators! Beautiful set up though, love the jungle feel!
I want so bad to give this place 5 stars. Unfortunately, I can't honestly do that. While I'm sure it is run with good intentions...it was very disappointing. Where do I begin?...3 women behind the gift shop counter and no one said a word except to tell us we had to go to another register to pay for our gifts. The jungle walkways were covered so bad with algae that it was slippery to walk on. Dead foliage throughout..even in the random potted plants that were stored in active habitats. Reptile food trays were molded over as i... read more
Took my 7 month to have some fun.. And we did! Being in contact with some animals was great! And being able to feed them was even funner... We live in Sarasota so we wanted to do the membership but the gator fence is too low ! in my opinion it should be all closed...glass would be best.. Ive seen inumorous videos of gators jumping fences, and the one you guys gave is really small... Too risky :/
We as a family of 5 visited today. And I just wanted to leave a remark at how I'm happy we were with the entire Zoo. We noticed a lot of exhibits did not have water for any of the animals. The snake exhibit smelt like pigs. The crocodile didn't have any water in the pool. And the turtle exhibit they have Moss all over their shells. I could go on with what we saw. We just found this to be extremely run down. Unlikely we will ever attend again.
