I'd been itching for weeks and it had spread pretty much. I finally got tired of it and called to make an appointment with Dr Margetas. l kept thinking I had Eczema again, as I get that fairly often. But, it wasn't clearing up with the Eczema medication I had. I tried several different ones, but nothing really helped. Dr Margetas looked at what I had and said she thought I had hives. She changed my medication and they actually cleared up in a few days. And, the itching went away. And, I am a happy camper again.

I have been trying to get a call back from the Kennett Square office, been waiting for well over a week. Crickets.. they just don't care about the communication. Called after a week and left another message, was told they would call today.. they closed 45 minutes ago.. no call back. You can't actually call the office, you end up in a centralized phone center that sends a message to the office to call you back.... and they never do.

I will be reporting this practice to the better business bureau. They conducted an in office biopsy following a skin check, and the the post-visit notes stated that I had signed a consent form and that the risks had been reviewed with me, neither of which happened. There was also a lot of other detail included regarding information provided/discussed which I never received. I will never be involved with Schweiger again. They screwed up my appointment time and date after it was confirmed. When I arrived, they did not know about my confirmed appointment. The office nurses all complained about their horrible office phone service. I refused to leave and waited. The dermatologist spent 12 minutes looking at my small skin rash, ordered me a 4-tier steroid that costs $175 after my insurance, and then dared to charge my insurance company $450. I do find some of the reviews silly. Some people got upset about the wait time to see a provider. That is very common at a lot of practices. A person got upset because she forgot to bring her insurance card and they didn't see her. It is like that everywhere else. My issue is that I have scheduled a couple of full skin cancer screenings. Skin cancer runs in my family. A full screening was not completed. The provider did not exam me properly. Drove 45 minutes because I got a good recommendation on this place. 6 minutes late due to construction traffic and they said I had to reschedule. No grace given at all. I do recall waiting at least 10 minutes at my initial appointment. Had a nice conversation with a man in the waiting room though.
