Extremely rude staff, and Dr. Dennis Prado is no better. He's supposed to be a skin cancer specialist, but he misdiagnosed skin cancer as "just a pimple", when other dermatologists knew it from just a photo. He refused to do anything, and still billed $600 for nothing.

Not a good place to take your child if they have a chronic and severe skin problem. I waited for a long time in front of the multiple receptionist desks to check in for my child's appointment. They took turns glaring at me but didn't address me until a long time later and they gave each other looks about me. The waiting area was mostly empty, it wasn't anywhere near closing time, and there was no one besides me waiting to check in. I've been to this office only a few times and the service is unprofessional. This is the second time and second provider that has cancelled appointments at the last minute. I was never notified that my appointment would be cancelled and when I arrived they did not accommodate me for my inconvenience at all. I shared with the receptionist that I never received a message via text or email that my appointment would be cancelled. My first visit here was in Feb 2020. I was being seen about 4 - 6 x's each year for various derm stuff. In the 4 years that I have been a patient, only once did I see a doctor. All the other times, have been with PA's and those have changed multiple times. And, if you were to try to get a derm appointment at another derm office, you might find it hard to get a same day or next day, or even 5 - 7 day up coming appointment. At first I was really blown away by this office; however, a few things left me unsettled after the first appointment that I should have listened to that could have saved me months of frustration. The woman who took my intake information Brushed off my frustrations with acne. I'm in my mid twenties but have been seeing dermatologists since I was 16 for acne and have had no luck. I'm writing in to the AMA and if I had my choice, the doctor who treated me would never practice medicine again. She performed a biopsy without saying it would create a scar, without saying it would require stitches, and without sending me home with instructions on what was performed in the office. It is against AMA guidance and appropriate patient counseling.

My Appointment was at 4:10 I arrived at 4:30 which they told me I can't see the doctor cuz their grace period is 15 min. I told them I only need refill and it will take less then 5 min since I already had this same perception in this very same office . They told me no since it's a new doctor and this will take longer. Still not sure why since my first doctor that I ever saw when I came very first time literally took less then 5 min to see me . Very weird office and weird policy .

After I received no fewer than half a dozen reminders and confirmations of an appointment for today, the office scheduler called me less than 30 minutes prior to my appointment to tell me that the doctor working that day does not take my insurance. She started off the conversation with me short, frustrated, and lacking in compassion ... and then things only got worse from there. First of all, doctors have no enough knowledge to treat the patient. The medicine the doctor give in the prescription doesn't work. secondly, they don't even do anything to treat the skin, like remove a dark spot. lastly, they charge higher copay than the insurance indicated. Very disappointed!!!
