Avoid at all costs if you value your time. I had an appointment for 3pm on a Monday with a particular dermatologist that my friend recommended. I was told to wait--the doctor was with another patient. So I waited. And waited. And waited. Two more patients came in after me and were received ahead of me. I asked for a reasonable estimate of how long I need to wait. I was told "the doctor is almost done, just a few more minutes." That, of course, was not the case. This used to be a great place to take care of my dermatological needs, but it has gone downhill. During my last visit they took my copayment and I was not seen by the doctor. I just needed a prescription refill and was made to wait for an hour despite being early for my appointment. I told them that I had to leave to make another appointment (to pick up my Mom from her doctor) but they didn't care. Very unprofessional. I am extremely disappointed by their service and attitude. I tried setting up appointments for my younger siblings , the people at their office gave me a date and time for the appointment. They canceled my appointment once, and after calling back they had no clue why it was canceled so I rescheduled, this time I made sure they confirmed it through the phone. Schweiger & Dr Freylich are losing a patient of several years. After 55 minutes on hold to make an appointment, & finally trying unsuccessfully to make an appointment online ( something i did not want to do in the first place) i give up, & will look for another dermatologist. Hiding behind an internet wall displays lack of concern for the patients.

I'm sure their quality of work is fine but can we at least try to be on time? It sucks to arrive 15 minutes early for your 1:30pm appointment and still be waiting to be seen at 2:15pm. I couldn't afford to be late to work so I left. I get it, its for low-income patients. Eventually I won't be broke and I'll have insurance and I'll be able to afford places that will see me on time. If anything, thank you for your receptionists on the phone and at the desk. They were helpful and patient but that experience sucked.

So the NP finally called me back after 5 days. It came to a point where I told them I will compain to the manager and doctor if I can not get a call back. Also be aware, they are nothing but rip offs. The NP told me I had to get laser treament to burn and cauterize the marks I have on my face. Supposedly insurnace doesn't cover it and you have to pay out of pocket. They told me it is 10 spots for $195 and then $10 extra per each extra dot. It was going to come out to $500. I went to Dr Miller a couple of times I've called more then 5 times and tried to talk to her about my condition because its not getting better. I left many messages no call back. I'm a cabinet maker I treat my customers that buy wood from me better then Dr Miller treats her patients. Came here because it wss close and was affiliated with my insurance. Waited almost an hour for an appointment and was seen by a PA just rushed to quickly look at my face gave subdermal steroids for which they did not fully explain its benefits or risks after which i developed infecious pockets around the area of injection which was more difficult to manage than my acne. I can't recommend this place to anyone. I just moved to the area so needed a new dermatologist. The office is very nice and modern and staff is nice BUT I have been waiting a week for my prescription. My pharmacy have not received anything from them and I have called Schweiger Dermatology 5 times asking about it (which by the way, is answered by an answering service, so you can never really talk to someone from the actual location), they keep telling me the same thing, that they will resend the prescription to my pharmacy an... read more
