I visited this practice as a change to my normal dermatologist as I was hoping to clear up some folliculitis I was getting on my arms prior to my wedding. Obviously big mistake on my end trying a new dermatologist before my wedding. Not only did my folliculitis not get treated but the oral pills and the wash I was prescribed caused a huge rash and breakout all over my back. When I want for my follow-up a week later to show the rash they gave me another bacterial ointment which only made it worse. I had an "after party" d... read more
I came to the office a couple of days ago pretty nervous going to the dermatologist office for the first time. I was greeted by the receptionist who was rude and unprofessional. She belittled me for not knowing certain answers to the questions she was asking. As the first person that is seen once someone walks in the front desk should have a pleasant and calming attitude. Instead of making me feel comfortable I felt the opposite I couldn't wait to leave the office after the appointment. I was taken back to see the doctor who... read more
It was like a Botox Spritzer - weak from the start, and wears off fast.
Melissa, I understand you trying to defend your practice; however, to now imply it was a miscommunication is not only weak, but insulting. Most of your "good" reviews are few and far between and suspicious at best (perhaps friends of "doctors" with one or a few reviews and mostly for mere cosmetic procedures). As I said, maybe good as a Botox shop (I wouldn't know) but most definitely not a true medical forum with a doctor that adheres to the Hippocratic Oath. She was curt, condescending and failed to address my concerns an... read more
Business response:
Hi Heather- We're sorry you did not feel as though you had a good experience at our office. All of our providers are very professional, including the provider you saw. It sounds like there was a miscommunication during your visit and if you perceived anything other than compassion and professionalism from your provider, it was a misunderstanding. To clarify, we do not receive any kickbacks from drug companies whatsoever. We recommend what our providers feel are the best treatments and pharmacy for our patients, but do not ga... read more
My experience at Schweitzer Dermatology was less than favorable. Alexandra Gold had me in and out of the chair in literally 5 minutes. I didn't feel like she cared about my condition at all. Her professional etiquette was cold, and she could benefit from some training on how to be more warm to her patients and hear their needs and concerns. My insurance pays good money for me to have the best care and this dermatology office did not meet my expectations. I left feeling like I wasted my time. I will not be returning for a fol... read more
Update: I have been going to this location since the summer to find out what it's going on with the skin around my eyes. It has been more than 6 month and I'm still waiting to learn what is going on. I have no problem with Dr. Nazarian but the rest of the staff has this attitude and sense of greatness and that they are better than me. I am not going back. When I go there I feel belittled by the receptionist and the other professionals. They only see me for about 3 minuets and then dismiss me. I don't travel in rush hour aft... read more
