I've only been to Seaton Hagerstown a couple times, but my brother seems to like it there. Everybody there, including the residents, seems friendly. My brother is very friendly and has talked to just about everyone he sees. He says some people respond and some don't. Some people don't want to talk I assume, but he's made friends with several people in his vicinity that he goes down to have dinner with. Seaton Hagerstown is a comfortable place to be. they communicate with friends and family by giving us a call regarding our loved ones care and needs. they have an actual mailing billing system, which breaks down what's due and how to pay. the entire community is all on one floor and the care for assisted living is tiered. the care ranges from supervision, medication delivery, and on upward. the more care you need, the cost goes up - you aren't paying for more than what you're receiving. there's a really nice covered pergola ... read more

Our loved one was only there for a little for respite care and did not get a chance to participate in the activities just due to the covid restrictions. However the staff were very friendly and responsive every time we called. We would recommend this community to others if it benefited the individual's needs

Would like to thank Seaton Hagerstown for taking my husband in their home. He has dementia, he is in the memory care unit. He has been there for 4 months, He seems to enjoy it there, and everyone is terrific with him. It's not a fancy place, it's very simple, but that's the way he has lived all his life. They take very good care of him, he likes everyone there. They make you feel welcome, and you can ask them questions anytime. They are always there for you.

My loved one had a medical emergency and had to move out shortly after moving in, but they've been very nice. It seems like all the employees are very friendly and helpful. It seems to be a very pleasant place to be. When we moved in, his bathroom wasn't clean and wasn't set up with towels and things. But they handled any concerns we had immediately. I never felt like they blew us off. They took care of anything we needed

I would tell others we have been most satisfied with everything here. My loved one's health has vastly improved since being at Elmcroft of Hagerstown. Charades, bingo, holiday celebrations, monthly country themes, and more are available each month for the residents. They have a monthly newsletter as well for the residents. They take photos of the residents participating in the activities and send to family members.

We had a virtual tour during Covid. The facility looked nice, and everybody I spoke with was very nice and informative. It was hard not being there in person, but they did the best the could with the situation at the time.
