We had a virtual tour during Covid. The facility looked nice, and everybody I spoke with was very nice and informative. It was hard not being there in person, but they did the best the could with the situation at the time.

The people there have been extremely cooperative, we have had no problems with them being willing to help our family with issues. The food is about average, it is not as good as cooking at home. It is not the best but not bad either. For the most part we would recommend this facility, they do seem to try and keep the residents moving with activities. I really liked the director there. She was just so personable and so helpful. The downside for us was the fact that they only had studios there, and no apartments. My loved one had just downsized from a house, so I didn't want to downsize her any further. But I was impressed with what I saw of the facility.

Elmcroft of Hagerstown was a great facility. The staff were very helpful and kept in contact with me. At the time we toured it was during covid, so we had what was called a porch visit where we sat outside with the sales representative. She was very informative and it was professional but also relaxed and comfortable.

Everyone has been very nice, and for Easter we were able to sit on the porch and have a couple window visits with our loved one. She says she is happy there and everyone has been nice to her. The food is good, they great three meals a day and for every holiday they have a special celebration. The activities are still pretty limited but they do have bingo which she really enjoys. the Elmcroft also has a good homey feeling to it and the value is reasonable.

It's a great community, it is important to make sure if your paying for additional care that your loved one is getting that care. I would recommend this community to others, the community is well kept.

The staff are very helpful and nice. They really took the time to get to know my sister and her unique needs. They are so patient with her. The manager is very hands-on, always there, very pleasant, and always smiling. I was very impressed with activities director. She goes out of her way to find things of interest for each resident. The Executive Director, [name removed], was a wealth of information and perspectives. Unfortunately, the common area for the memory care unit was very small and there was really only the one space for them to gather. On a positive note, they are doing some upgrades and renovations to the Memory Care wing which are needed and will greatly improve its appearance.

It was a very nice place. I spoke with several residence and they all love it there. However they do not take insurance of any kind for room and board. the price starts at $3500.
