Seattle Tree Care is awesome! They have done two different jobs for me: one was a really skillful pruning and removal of a very large tree in my front yard. The latest job was the complete removal (including stumps!!!) of five birch’s in my narrow side yard. Their climber (Peter) was actually the owner. He was careful, friendly and really thorough. We were contacted promptly in response to our request for a proposal and enjoyed meeting Ethan to discuss the scope of the project. Classy operation, starting with the initial contact, the follow-up through the lengthy permit process, the crazy one-handed chain saw, the tree eating chipper, and ending with a well done cleanup. Even the trucks look classy. Thank you very much for the excellent service!
Lloyd and his crew arrived on time, spent time talking with me about our yard's needs, and then went right to work. We had some trees that needed removal rather than pruning unfortunately. Lloyd provided perspective and expert advice so we could make the decision to have the team remove the trees. They wrapped up with a review of all the work and cleanup - which was excellent. I had two misunderstandings. Since I don't know anything about trees, I did not ask the right questions, so I did not get answers to them. PRUNING: When I saw the tree, it was shocked that it is still HUGE. When my husband prunes trees, they look like little stubs! I was expecting a tree to be about 1/4 the size it used to be, instead of 7/8 the size it used to be. Sad to see my old alder go, but STC crew, as usual, did a fabulous and skillful job of taking it down carefully, carving up the snag, and then did a thorough cleanup afterwards-- as well as prune out some unruly branches of a couple of other trees. Would not use anyone else, ever. Breathtaking to watch the climbing and dismantling of the beloved old tree!
