Actually he rented a storage and then sat in the car to call me and ask me what I wanted him to do as we were moving our three bedroom home he had already rented the unit when accused of " loitering" ... and everything was fine until the next day when he received a call saying the manager was "afraid to rent to him" and we were asked to come to the office so I went with him where the lady behind the counter was extremely rude to us ... and as I said before we have everything documented and you will be hearing from our attorn... read more

Hello, The proposed tenant referred to in this post had been asked to leave multiple times for vagrancy and loitering. However, his trespass onto our private property continued. Therefore, when he tried to rent a unit, management correctly refused the tenancy, which is our right. The tenancy was not rejected because of looks or any other reason. If I could leave minus stars i would girl in the front is the worst rude customer service. I had a question for her because i have my stuff there in my daughter storage an now she doesn't want to give me my property back because i don't allow her to live with me an because its not my storage she right away tells me because its not my storage she automatically takes her side what kinda customer service is that getting herself in business that she doesn't even know about. When getting this storage we discussed the insurance policy with the lady at the front desk stating we did not want it due to our last storage being broke into and nothing was really done. She said all I had to do was come back in by the end of the month and let them and the $12.00 or fee would be taken off. Today I am here to move stuff in and told her we decided not to have the insurance, she replied I needed to show proof of homeowners insurance to do so. I stated that is not what she said last week. I never knew that I could have a terrible experience just to get a storage space. I placed a reservation online and received a phone call a couple hours later from a lady named Crystal. She was rude from the minute her mouth started opening till I showed up in person and she was worse in person. It's very obvious she hates her job and was rushing to get out and could care less about me as a customer. Your online move-in was processed at around 2:30pm on May 28th, and the manager left notes in your account shortly after at 3pm indicating that you had spoken with her and were possibly at the wrong location. We choose place because they offered free use of truck. When we arrived they said it was broken and I requested to cancel the reservation and she insisted that we couldn't not cancel. So heads up don't book here is you need a truck it is not guaranteed.

While it is true that StorAmerica Anaheim's truck was out of service due to maintenance issues, our manager did offer you use of our Tustin facility's truck, which was available for the day that you needed it. Since we only have 1 truck at each facility, there may be periods when the truck is not safely drivable, in which case we will always provide an alternative solution. -Management

I had to move from my place and got a storage that hours say 9am-6pm. I arrived at 5:30 just in time. But when it was time to leave i found myself locked inside the property and gate didn't want to open. No phone number in case this happens to anyone. Had to call police to help out. The office person arrived from picking up diner and seen the situation only to ignoring us. Went inside and not answer her door. Police finally get there and get them to open there door. Per the lease agreement you signed, daily access hours are from 7:00am to 6:45pm as the gate will automatically lock at 7:00pm sharp. When I moved my things out of here I had noticed that the metal sheeting that they use as "walls" were bent above my unit, but didn't think much of it. Once when I opened my unit door things looked a little tossed around and a floor vase was broken. I was in an upstairs unit, so just thought maybe something shook the floor that caused that. If I could give 0 stars I would!! Very unprofessional. I opened a storage unit and my code was never activated. Turns out they activated the wrong code. They open at 9 and we came at around 10 to move some stuff. The worker wasn't even here and we ended up waiting for 45 minutes before we could get in. Another tenant told me that the worker comes and goes all day. There were multiple tenants who needed help and the worker was not here. I gave them my license to use a cart and I had to wait 30 minutes outside to return it bec... read more

Called last month (09/01/2019) for pricing. Was quoted $154 for a 10x10. When I visited the location she said I this price was only the unit and insurance. I told them I have an existing renters policy with AAA and she said if you don't want our insurance you won't get any discount. After some back and forth with her. The unit was $154 plus insurance which I believe was $12 monthly for a total of $164. If I rejected the insurance I'd have to pay $179 a month. What a racket they have going on.
