Nurses are great. Food is very good. Most areas are very clean. Apartment is very nice size.
After a thorough search for a memory care after a hard experience at another assisted living, we settled on Serenades. One of our most important criteria was staff longevity and continuity of care. We asked specifically about this, asking how long the administration had been there, how committed they were to staying, how many years the average care employee stayed, and if the facility keeps the same staff with the same residents as often as possible. The service has been great. My husband likes the experience. The price for one half day seems high. I recommend this facility because the staff seems happy and my husband looks forward to his visit.

I have given recommendation to two friends. I picked this community because of the single rooms. The facility looked and felt like a home.

The Serenades at West Orange property is well maintained with a lovely central courtyard. The rooms are very spacious, especially compared to some other places we looked at. Mom thinks the food there is good and they have music programs regularly that are really good.
Our family had an in person tour and the gentlemen who gave the tour was very thorough and made it a wonderful experience. It was a really great place and it was our second choice.
They made me feel comfortable and care about my loved one, who likes to help out with the other residents. I picked this community, because I felt it was the right fit for my loved ones needs.
We chose Serenades because it looked better than the others we visited. We went to 2 other places and the residents were completely out of it, although it is strictly a memory care facility there are a few residents that are more with it here and able to hold a conversation with my loved one. The price is competitive and also walking distance from my home. I do have to request things multiple times and sometimes the word does not get passed down so that has been frustrating. Our loved one came to the Serenades after leaving from another community and it is a night and day turn around. We would highly recommend this community to any family. Our dad is happy here, he is really improving. It is a much friendly atmosphere, he gets so many hugs from the staff and they just seem to take an interest in the residents there.
