We like Ella’s and book for special occasions and holidays. Sunday evening we were celebrating our 46th anniversary. My husband ordered the pork chop and the wedge salad. Both were excellent! I ordered the crab cakes and when my husbands dinner was served I was given and empty plate and a steak knife. When the waiter came to the table we asked where my dinner was. He forget and quickly served it to me. It was cold! I asked if this was how it was served and he quickly removed it and later returned with it heated but not hot! ... read more
Wonderful as always! We look forward to visiting every time we are on the island. We live in DC and I would put Ela’s up against any of the places there- including ones with Michelin stars. Looking forward to our next visit!

The food was excellent, service was good. Our waitress had too many tables to serve part way into our meal. The seafood was prepared perfectly. The disappointing part was a service charge added if you paid by credit card. I feel this is an unacceptable fee when going to a upscale restaurant, where the entrees were mostly in the $30-$50 range.
Ela’s was incredible! The ambience was perfection and our server Karen was extremely kind, knowledgeable of the menu, and provided impeccable service. The food was delicious and you can tell that the chef puts their heart and soul into every dish. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent dinner and service. We ordered different items from the appetizer menu and each was wonderful! Waitstaff is great. Highly recommend!
Very nice Father’s Day dinner. Seeing a dolphin was the icing on the cake. Great spot in Hilton Head!
