Our server was sat with 4 tables including ours at the same time which made the service less then desirable. We were there celebrating my birthday with my husband and we were having to constantly having to ask our server for his attention and when he did come to the table we felt rushed and unimportant.
We came to Ela’s for a celebration dinner and LOVED IT! The food was delicious, our server was professional & friendly. The steamed lobster tail with risotto was cooked perfectly. All 4 of us were extremely happy with our dinners. The location on the water is awesome too.
This was our first visit. We were seated by a window, beautiful view. We started our meal with the fried green tomatoes. We try this app most times we find it on the menu. These were very good; crisp outside, tender inside. For entrees, my husband got the lobster ravioli. The ravioli was cooked perfectly and the sauce was creamy and smooth with a yummy richness. This first visit to Ella’s did not disappoint in any way. Most important, all of the four items we ordered from the menu were great. Service was as good as it gets thanks to David. The dining area was quiet and offered a beautiful view of the salt marsh. Ella’s will be at the top of our list for dining on every visit to Hilton Head Island.
