We were delighted to be seated overlooking the marsh. The views at sunset were magnificent. Our server was extremely attentive and provided detailed information and recommendations from the menu. Both the food and wine selection was varied and all four of us ate everything including the bread basket. Our friend raved about the blackened tuna and his wife enjoyed the short ribs. Both my husband and I enjoyed the steamed lobster with citrus risotto. Will definitely return on our next trip to HHI

Excellent service Karen was very helpful and knowledgeable about the food. We managed to get sat outside overlooking the entrance to the Marina loved the place and definitely now on our favourite list of places to eat when visiting Hilton Head.
Always love dining on the water. ELA’s overlooks a marina. My gumbo soup and crab stack were good, however; the crab was tasteless and you had to search for the 1/2 t of avocado. Lobster bisque was good, my husband felt the crab cake was also tasteless and a rather small portion. The chocolate mousse cake and key lime pie were very good. Service was fine but, not extraordinary.
Ela's in Shelter Cove is a must-visit when we have guests visiting. It has been a stellar choice every time!! One of my favorites on all of Hilton Head Island!!!!☆☆☆☆☆
Easter menu is uninspired. We love the regular menu. We could not get the regular menu till 5PM so that took away from our 2:30 reservation time. The staff appeared to be waiting for us to leave the entire time. We probably will go elsewhere next Easter. We love the regular menu/amazing ambiance and will continue to come for that.
Food, service and atmosphere were excellent. One of the best places on the island for a good steak. Don't find a lot of good charcuterie boards on HHI, but theirs was great. The dessert, strawberry cake, was out of this world. Highly recommend Ela's.
Perfect night. This was our second time dining here from previous visit to Hilton Head last September. First. Friendly greeting upon arrival. Table was ready and upgraded from our reservation. Our server, Vanessa, was friendly, professional, and gave us the perfect amount of attention. Food, Filet Mignon perfectly prepared Medium Rare. Wife’s snapper was outstanding. Friend chose the Salmon Rockefeller. He is not a seafood person and loved it. Highly recommend enjoying our new favorite restaurant!
Great service. Great food. Outside dining with great view of ship basin. Very helpful server for 2 guests with dietary restrictions.
