We visited Ela’s during Restaurant Week and were looking forward to trying the entrees. We had an outdoor table, and 4 out of 5 of us ordered the Tasting Menu. The food was very good. However the service was very disappointing. We waited for our drinks but figured the bar was busy. We also waited for our food a very long time. The waiter said the kitchen was unexpectedly busy (? Excellent restaurant - we always have dinner here when we are n Hilton Head. Love the lobster nachos and great martinis - the servers here are always excellent.
Was there for restaurant week. Food was very good, as well as the pairings with it. Was a great experience, but our waitress was a airhead! Just seemed like she didn’t want to be there.
Waited at the bar for entire party to show up, in 10 minutes we were not offered a drink. At the table we waited 20 minutes for wine. Food was prompt, most came perfectly. The waitress should have checked in more on food/drinks. A medium filet came rare and when it was mentioned nothing was offered. The bar needs more staff & the staff could be more attentive to guests needs. We had high expectations, would rate a 7 out of 10.
Only downside was where we were seated and they said they could not make a change. Restaurant was not full so it was a bit disconcerting.
Restaurant week menus was very enjoyable. Great service. Noise level was too high for conversation.
We had the “Restaurant Week” menu. Food was great. Really a nice place.
