We were outside and it was spectacular. The view of the water and marina in the foggy night was charming. The food was all excellent. The service was great.
Excellent from the door to the table. The staff was great, the service was perfect and the food was above all expectations.
My wife and I went to Ela's on the water to celebrate her 75th birthday. When we arrived at the restaurant, the host greeted us and promptly showed us the table we had requested through our Open Table reservation. The waitress was very attentive throughout our meal. She explained the evening's chef specials and told us the swordfish would be an excellent selection. We both selected that and are very happy that we did. It was absolutely excellent. Excellent food and service. Spectacular view. One of our favorite places in HHI.
Very good wine list. Great gumbo. We had the grilled swordfish and the grouper, carpacio,, and gumbo. All very good. Would highly recommend and will be back
We come to Ela's every time we stay in Hilton Head. We have had wonderful meals when seated on the first floor. This time we were seated on the 2nd floor and had a disappointing experience. The waitress came infrequently and complained about having to go downstairs to bring some bread- hush puppies. The noise traveled from the other tables and it seemed like they were seated closer than my partner. We could hear the other conversations clearly, but not our own.The food and wine we're still great and the decor was attractive.
Beautiful setting. Server was great. Food was okay. I would not recommend the omelette. My husbands eggs were fine.
This was our second visit to ELA'S. The food, wine, and service were exceptional. This is our favorite place to dine on HHI.
We enjoyed our evening. The food was delicious with great service. It is very noisy. Sitting outside would be the best.
