We dined here for my husband’s birthday. We appreciated the food variety and fresh seafood options. The food could have been a bit more flavorful for our taste but that’s more of a personal preference. Ambiance was great! We appreciated the social distancing available as we sat on the patio overlooking the waterfront. The desserts were probably the best part of the experience!
Enjoyable meal, would recommend the crab cake appetizer and the fried green tomatoes. Seared scallops and the short ribs were excellent. Great service, wonderful meal
We had a great experience. We had requested an outdoor table and we got a 2 top along the stairway right next to the water - beautiful and romantic. While we were eating, an older couple stopped by and told us they had gotten engaged in that spot years ago - pretty cool. Our server was very good and didn't rush us at all even though we were taking our time. He had very good recommendations and gave a real opinion (which I appreciate). The food was delicious.
Quite pricey for average food. Nice ambiance and sunset & marina views but now I remember why we don’t come here often!
Pretty pricy but food was very good And the service was excellent. The outside dining had a nice view of shelter cove and the boat activity.
The location, atmosphere, view and food were outstanding. The service was really below par for an upscale restaurant such as Ela's. Had to ask 2-3 times for various things and it seemed to be an inconvenience to the server. Other than service, it was a great experience, as we had never dined there before.

Server rarely stopped dry table. Food was so so
Ela’s is hands down the best food on Hilton Head! Do yourself the favor of making reservations just as soon as you can. Once there, by all means, order the crab stack!
