Food service was very slow and when it arrived, it was not hot.
I highly recommend this restaurant. It feels like fine dining as you approach it. The staff was welcoming and the service was fantastic. There were five of us dining who all loved every bite. The Kumato Salad was a really unique and delicious twist on a caprese salad. We also had lobster bisque, Osso Bucco ravioli, salmon Rockefeller, diver scallops and grouper. Overall my dinner was wonderful!!! Loved the Honey-Lime Shrimp appetizer and wedge salad with blue cheese dressing. My scallops were excellent, but my New York Strip steak was a bit fatty. Strawberry cake was delicious!
Wonderful birthday dinner on the deck overlooking the harbor at sunset. The food was exceptional and our waiter was excellent!
We had a nice time. The view was beautiful. The food was good. Our server may have had a bad night or something but he was not attentive at all. He seemed to pay attention to his other tables but was not at all engaging or helpful with the menu, and didn’t come back much to our table. It is rare that we get a date night and would have been nice to have a Little nicer experience. All in all we had a nice time regardless.
The server was not at all attentive. We had to ask her name...She just didn’t seem interested in serving us.

Ela’s never disappoints. We visit Hilton Head in May and September each year and always have dinner at Ela’s. This year due to COVID, we only made it to Hilton Head the last week of December. The seared scallops and crab risotto is my absolute favorite and I had it again New Year’s Eve. Looking forward to our trip in May and another fabulous dinner at Ela’s.
We sat indoors at a high top table and had a view of the harbor. Beautiful atmosphere and the service was impeccable!
