The patio, where we were seated, overlooks a harbor full of large boats. At sunset it was a pretty impressive view. I didn’t expect the food to equal the ambiance but i was surprised. We had a very memorable date and i would certainly recommend ela’s with the caveat that you should try to get an outside table.
We requested a nice table and were given a 2-top with no view. The food absolutely cleared that memory very quickly. Crab cake and Lobster Bisque r some of the best u can get. My Grouper was also very well prepared. Pear salad with a great pomegranate dressing was also very tasty. Very nice dessert tray offering some nice offerings. The restaurant want doing a very good job of enforcing the mandatory mask law. Kept u very on edge that people disregard the seriousness of this pandemic.

We ate at Wla's for our anniverary dinner. The food was really good and the view was romantic.
Our food was marginal at best. Hostess not very welcoming. Our server was gods but did not notice we didn’t eat better than half of our food. Had surf and turf. Would not remember that dish. Oysters were not fresh, overall fair meal but great location
Excellent up-scale dining experience. The wine selection is nice and fairly priced from an industry practice standpoint (not more than 3x). View and ambiance are perfect for a relaxed evening. Service was spot on. Had the Tuna Tartare (excellent), Caprese salad (tomatoes were perfect, a little overdressed), and the Salmon (also excellent). Will definitely be back again.

Pleasant evening on the marina at Shelter Cove. Ela’s on the water always makes for a special dining experience. Took an early reservation time (5:45) in order to avoid crowding during COVID Restrictions. We chose to eat outside as the days are getting shorter cooler evenings will make the opportunities fewer. We have been to ELA's several times over the past few years of vacations on HHI. Our server Grant introduced himself to us and was very pleasant. Since I wanted a nice Pino Grigio, he suggested a "Massa" (?). When I tried it, I didn't like it. My husband sipped it, too, to determine that it wasn't a wine gone bad. I told Grant and he substituted a Santa Margarita, which he said was very citrus forward with grapefruit tones.
