I had the most amazing night here at Ela’s thanks to mi boyfriend! Grant was our sever and he went above and beyond to make sure we had an exceptional night!! He treated us with the best customer service and patience! We ordered a crab cake, fried green tomatoes (yum) and a dozen oysters. Perfect place to celebrate a special occasion ! Incredibly kind staff and the food was wonderful. Charcuterie board was the best!
I have been to your restaurant many times and have recommended many times. Everything about this restaurant is great. However, last time, not sure if the server was just off or had too many tables. Basically once he poured our wine we pretty much had to track him down to get anything, from bread, to additional cocktails, he pretty much never looked our way, it was very odd. Service was very slow and our server was very unfriendly. He seemed to be in the weeds and all of his tables were constantly waiting on something. Food was just so-so. The lobster tail was over-cooked and the risotto was so bland. The salmon had some good bites and some bites that were very over-seasoned. We were celebrating our anniversary and wish we would have went somewhere else.
Outstanding dinner! Very friendly and kind service. Food and view were great! Some of the very best on the island.... a hidden gem unearthed for us. See you next year!

If there’s a breeze, sitting outside for dinner can be one of the nicest spots on HHI. The food can be very good. Service is sometimes spotty. Lots of promise, though consistency is a problem. We keep going back, though. Wine list reasonable.
