great view, great food. Horrible table placement, while many other tables were empty. As you can tell we're not ones to speak up, shame on us then; I agree. Having said all of that we would go back. Just plain wonderful!
My husband had the Beef Carpaccio and said it was equal to the best he had ever had. I had the delicious grouper. The servings were ample. Antonio was our server and he was a joy. The scenery was lovely and we look forward to returning soon.
Enjoyed our night at Ela's. The scallop plate was fantastic and the service made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. Will definitely return in the near future.
Food and service were great and view is spectacular. It’s a little pricy, but fora nice dinner out, I’d recommend this place. Pasta primavera was delicious (and the only real vegetarian option other than sides).
My appetizer was excellent; carpaccio. Entree was grouper which was rather dry
We were very excited for our first visit! The Marina lights are great, lovely views. Service was slow - we had to ask for attention twice. Caprese salad tasted like it had bottled dressing, salty, thick and stale. The calamari was suspect- too thick to be true calamari and we couldn’t identify. Great Ambience, great service and wonderful menu. This is our favorite dining experience in Hilton Head. The food is always the best.
Good and service was outstanding. However, even though we had reservations we were sseated upper level at a cheep metal table that was unsteady. Lighting was poor, which to some would be a plus. Half of the experience of dining at Ella’s is the view. No view from a dark corner up stairs. If the option is available, choose outside seating.
