I've heard so many positive things about this restaurant. It was our first visit, and was not impressed. The server did not know what the restaurant specialty was. We ordered the calamari because the server suggested it. It was tough. My husband liked the pork chops, but my day scallops were undercooked. The menu is pricier than most, but the quality was not. I mentioned it was my husband's birthday celebration, but it was not acknowledged in any way. There are too many great restaurants in the are for us to return here anyt... read more

It was a very special occasion...Dinner was delicious! View of the water and sunset was lovely. Carla was our waitress. We highly recommend asking for her. She was fabulously attentive, and very friendly. Our party had: short ribs, calamari, tomato caprice, mushroom risotto, crab risotto and crab cakes, and a very nice bottle of Côte du Rhone that was not overpriced, I might add. One in the party has ambient sound issues, but there was no worries, as the level of noise is quiet, with a low din.... Bathrooms were spot on. Not... read more

We enjoyed another fine dining experience at Elas. We were fortunate to sit outside on a beautiful evening. My grouper was cooked to perfection, as was my husband's salmon. The salads were good. I do find it a bit pricey; however, that seems to be the trend now on Hilton Head. We were celebrating a birthday; however, when I inquired about it, I was told that we could order a dessert and they would "stick a candle in it". Very generous, but no thanks. It does seem to me that a restaurant of their caliber could spring for a si... read more

We visited here last year and it was very good. Great spot on the island to sit outside and view the water, boats, nature. Was disappointed with food this year, I had striped bass that was avg at best and sauce on it was too strong. Potatoes with it were cold. My sons steak (Filet Mignon) was ordered medium and came out rare and had to be sent back . No apologies were given. The waiter was friendly and for the most part attentive to our table.

Great service, food was delicious, well prepared and presented. Reasonably priced, we were 4 for Sunday Brunch. Fabulous view of the water and the marina.

Took mother to brunch at noon on Sunday prior to a matinee show of Mamma Mia at the Arts Center. It was a slow brunch day. Not many guests, which was actually very nice for us. It was very quiet inside overlooking the water. Great piano music playing. We had the crab cake omelet. It was very good with lump crab meat. I can think of nothing that could have been better. Prices reasonable for the quality and taste of the meal; however, when you consider the wonderful service we had, plus atmosphere of piano music and the water ... read more
