We were looking for a special restaurant for my husbands birthday and read reviews from Open Table on Ela's. It turned out to be a wonderful find. The food was incredible, our server was just the best. We couldn't have been more pleased with our dining experience. We will definitely make a return visit on our next trip to Hilton Head.
Kind of expensive for the portions, and service was very slow. The sun is in your face outside and the air cond. was very noisy. Would not go again, lots of other restaurants, but nice view.
Good food, nice setting, friendly helpful service
My husband and I have never been to elas before and decided to go to celebrate our anniversary....it was beyond an excellent choice. Everything from the view, food, the service, etc was perfect. Great place to relax, unwind, and rejuvenate with the friends or family you love. Would definitely return when we are back in town!

One of the truly beautiful water views on the island. The menu and specials change regularly and the food is fantastic with a gourmet flair and presentation. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Opened just a few years ago, it's our first visit to Ela's. In my opinion, it's one of the most scenic restaurants in all of Hilton Head, situated in Shelter Cove Marina. Ela's has a profesional staff, providing excellent service. The food was superb, with American/ Low Country offerings. The seafood was delicious,, and we will definitely be back on our annual visits to the island.
The food was quite good, but a bit pricey. The service was average. The setting is lovely, especially if you can sit outside or by the window. Even though we had made a reservation through open table, the reserved table's location was not too great. I had the whole flounder which was very good. My wife had the scallops which were also quite good, but the portion was quite small (four average size scallops).
