Was looking forward to trying this as had been there before as ocean grill. View is very nice, service was good but food fell shoert. The Arugula salad was very good but then my entree of mahi magi arrived! It was extremely over cooked to the point I barely ate it. I should have sent it back was no longer hungry or in the mood to wait for replacement. Oh well...doubt we will return.
Foodies this is a must if you are in Hilton Head. The menu was so inviting -lots of fresh fish selections and all with a southern flair - that it made it hard to narrow my picks down - oh well, guess I have to go back. Very nice wine selection and appreciated having a delicious "wine by the glass" that didn't cost $14. Oh, and the key lime pie is THE best we have ever had - melts in your mouth.
Our server was Jason. He was very personable and very knowledgeable about the menu. We started out with the Lobster Bisque which was too die for! My husband had the scallops with risotto which he enjoyed very much.I had the grouper which was served with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes. I thoroughly enjoyed it. We shared the Key Lime Tart for dessert which was very refreshing. Wish we lived closer or we would be regulars! Nice live music too!
We enjoyed the scenic view at Ella's. Our food was great especially the striped bass special. Our waitress Skye was excellent . Over all we had a wonderful experience.
Ela's has become one of our very favorite restaurants on Hilton Head. The food is always well prepared, the staff attentive, and the views are outstanding. Highly recommend it. Very nice wine selection.
Ela's was delicious! Great atmosphere and even better food. My husband and I ate the scallops over risotto and it was fabulous. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Highly recommend, always consistent and always amazing! Views and ambiance are the absolute best on the island
Food was exceptional. Recommend the grouper. Also recommend reserving outside deck. We set on third floor and although view was good it lacked any ambience, however food made up for that.
The atmosphere and food exceeded out expectation. The service was good, but slow.
