This is a return visit to Shelter Cove Marina for the M/V Hail Mary in 2019. The quality, cleanliness and amenities of this Marina make it a clear choice for travelers. The warm and friendly staff ensure that any need is considered and attended to, quickly. If you have travel plans on the ICW in the coming weeks, you must stop here to view the decorations and enjoy the Christmas Spirit. Definitely call quickly as they are filling up!
Rented a slip through Dockwa at Hilton Head Island, the entire process was simple and fast. The Shelter Cove slip was perfect and the people friendly and helpful. Will do this again!

Great location and very well kept. All convenience needed with many restaurants and Kroger Food store.
Excellent marina! The yacht basin is deep and very well protected. The amenities are great! Restaurants, shopping and entertainment all within walking distance. The docks are new with a full service fuel dock. The staff is awesome! Thanks Jason and Preston!

Great marina. At least 3 or 4 restaurants, live music almost nightly at an outdoor bar overlooking the marina. The staff was helpful, attentive, and great to deal with.

Excellent marina in every major category! I recently kept my boat there for 22 consecutive months and I can say nothing but good things about the Dockmaster (Jason Wheeler), his staff, the condition of the marina, the atmosphere, location and amenities. I only left to spend some months on the Florida coast but will be sure to return in the early Summer. I highly recommend this marina.
Beautiful marina with all the amenities! Only negative is that the security team cuts all bike locks over night without warning. Several cut that were marina slip owners. Really was a negative experience
Overall a decent experience, however didn’t feel very welcomed as twice in my short stay an employee ran from the gas dock all the way to my slip (not a short walk) to ask me if I was in the right slip. I spend 500+ hours on the water a year up and down the east coast and several weeks a year in the Bahamas, and have never been followed to my slip at any marina to be questioned if I was in the right spot. Both were awkward conversations and made it seem like we didn’t belong there
