Although it is a little out of the way, the marina is great. Gas price very favorable. Helpful and pleasant staff and lots of restaurants, shops, activities nearby. We rented a condo for two nights walking distance from the docks; rented bicycles; and took a 2-hour kayak tour right there from the docks. Great place!

Excellent location and amenities.
It is a great location with restaurants and even a bakery within easy walking distance. A resort atmosphere and great spaces to take walks with the dogs which we enjoyed. We would highly recommend this marina. We wish to extend our thanks to Mason Lemon, the Harbourmaster, who handled a difficult situation proactively and professionally. I sailed south from CT to shelter Cove Marina during Covid, I had never been to Hilton Head prior but saw this was a protected marina on charts. I’m heading further south, and going to miss Shelter Cove. This is one of the best run marina facilities on the east coast. The staff at Shelter Cove is likely the most friendly and the most competent marina staff I’ve ever experienced. (It doesn’t suck that there are 6x restaurants and bars at the end of dock!) Shelter cove gets a AAA rating!

What a beautiful spot to spend a day, week or month. The Marina is in a beautiful sheltered location, impeccably clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Can’t wait to return for a longer visit.

Shelter Cove is an outstanding Marina! Located in a protected basin, off of Broad Creek, in Hilton Head. Docks are in excellent condition, the Staff is great, and facilities are top notch. There is a boardwalk that runs along the Marina, with numerous shops and Restaurants. There is also a large Shopping Center, with a Kroger Supermarket, just a short bike ride away. Make sure to to The French Bakery for a great Breakfast
