RecommendedMy best friend Tim Camp is at this facility after a infection ended up on his spinal cord and paralyzing him . I just spent three days visiting him and attending his PT and OT sessions. This is an incredible facility for those who really need this type of care. Everyone I met was amazing, from the lobby staff to the PT and OT specialist. Shirley Ryan has give my friend the best opportunity to address his condition and try to recover as much mobility that's humanly possible. Thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart..
Shirly Ryan has been a true blessing is disguise! I'm being discharged tomrrow from Shirly Ryan and almost sad I won't see Jan or Katie from the 19th floor! Every single day for the past 5 and something weeks! I have been pushed to my limits and it has shown. This is not my first time in acute rehab but my first time here! I could barely move when I Arived ! And my left hand in very bad shape. However, as I had set backs I was met with optimism and jokes some very corney!
