I love the fact that Raheem finally has a brick and mortar spot where we can taste his glorious barbecue flavors along with the technique and finesse we all have come to know from Chef Raheem. One of my favorite BBQ items is the chicken. It's super juicy and full of flavor, some folks may not be familiar with how barbecued chicken works and may think this dish is raw, it's not. From start to finish, Shiso blew us away! We tried a variety of dishes and everything was truly outstanding. We started with the oxtail gunkan, scallop crudo, shiitake mushrooms, miso cornbread with uni on top, and the shiso chicken. For dessert, we had the sweet potato cheesecake and flan donuts--both were incredible!
