This was a basket of grease, horrible food, and people lined up waiting for 35 minutes wait for it, dreadful...
We were told a 45 minute wait. We were not sat until over 2 hours. Hostess was very rude and showed no concern.
Not exactly what I expected when I ordered takeout. The portion was skimpy at best and nothing was hot, even though we ate within 15 minutes of pickup. My husband ordered the same plate and his was much more than mine was.
The Food was tasty but Hair was stuck to my shrimp & I couldn’t finish it I threw it in the garbage however the service were good.
We have been coming to this area to vacation for 20 + years and have always loved eating at theShrimp Basket --until today. We were seated at Table 1 which was located right at the waiter/waitress station. I heard EVERYTHING that was discussed amongst wait staff. Three were complaining about "she had to comp my tables" to " This will be my last night" . " I am quitting" " Who wants to take that table?" Not me" . etc... etc.... They really need a better way to call your party other than someone yelling your name and the bathrooms are outside so if you have to go you have to fight the long line outside. The service was great the food ok hush puppies over cooked shrimp was bland. I’m there several times a month and I would recommend other places
Food was awful! Stay away from anything fried!
The manager mixed up our credit cards. When the price difference was pointed out to her after we got home , she said she was incapable of making mistakes cause she takes customer service very serious. Well the first lesson in the restaurant business is everyone is capable of making a mistake! When you get a God like complex just cause someone handed you a set of keys your DEFINATELY going to have problems. I’m a local and I’ll never be back. Fast food equivalent of good seafood and delusional management.
