It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. RecommendedOur first trip to Shrimp basket was in Destin, FLORIDA and we were really impressed. I had the blackened white fish; best I ever had. My husband had the shrimp and throughly enjoyed it! We are from Michigan and we were hoping there would be more as we head further south! Thank you for the experience. It was a 5 in our minds!
Great food, excellent service and friendly folks. We stopped after a long day of travel and it was perfect! We will do this again when we are in the area.
Food and service were super! Fresh oysters were definitely worth the 20 mile drive!
We love the food but have had major problems with getting help with the non-received gift cards the were ordered in Nov. getting NO response from phone messages or e-mails sent!
The food was cooked perfect and timely. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. We would like to give a special shout out to Emily, our waitress, she was fantastic and super nice. We definitely recommend this Shrimp Basket in Auburn.
