I have been going to the shrimp basket ever since they’ve open. On a scale from 1 to 10.....1 tonight. the waitress was rude nobody asked me for my order I had to ask if anybody was going to take it. when I ask a waitress can somebody take my order she goes yeah and she walked off finally came back and she just stared at me. I paid for the meal and she gave me my receipt back. she then put a bag on top of the countertop walked off didn't even say that was mine. it was nowhere near me! don't know what's going on with them t... read more

Was in Auburn last week to speak at a conference held at AU. My husband and I drove around campus and surrounding areas looking for restaurant ideas. We saw the Shrimp Basket sign and knew for sure the food had to be good, because we had one in Panama City Beach and eaten there on several occasions. The dozen oysters were the best I have ever eaten, fresh, the perfect brine! I had never eaten the Shrimp Basket Gourmet Hot Sauce, it is amazing, bought a bottle to take home. Me and my fiance went last night.The food and the service were Fantastic. I really enjoyed the fish and grits the were superb. My fiance had the Cajun white fish he loved it. Our server Jesse was really friendly..
