It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. RecommendedJust ate at the Shrimp Basket in Perdido Key. We had the whitefish, flounder, and chicken fingers. Everything was amazing. To top it off, we had the pleasure of being served by Hailey. She was outstanding!

I ordered blackened shrimp Po-Boy with side of Shrimp Slaw (instead of fries), it was GREAT, just what I was looking for. Lots of great tasting seafood here at reasonable prices

Super yummy food. Raw oysters were large. Grilled flounder was excellent. Amazing fried okra. The fried clams were great. Reasonably priced, slightly below what I’d expect. This is the perfect, casual seafood spot. I’ll be back.
