For Dobson/Frye location in chandler-/ I purposely put my appointment at 10:30 for a fasting ultrasound. A girl called me and left a message saying they “can’t do that” because I’m fasting. Sorry lady I don’t wake up that early. There are people that actually stay up late, work late and aren’t on a 9-5. That’s absolutely RUDE- not consentful. I cancelled my appt. I waited 2.5 hours for a mammogram. I had an appointment at 1:15pm and got the mammogram at 3:45pm. The waiting area for mammograms was full all of the time. Some of the women were elderly that needed more time. The staff said that it takes about 15 minutes for a mammogram and they are scheduled every 10minutes. Also, sometimes two staff are tied up for just one client who needs help. I was told 3 times that it wouldn’t be much longer but staff couldn’t keep up.
I've written before a bit ago,and I got a response - sort of. I left a very negative review as I left SimonMed bloody from a mammo. Yes....I have pictures! The response I got was that I should contact them at their email address. I could not reply to that response so I'm doing it here. I did email. Three times. And I counted up my total calls to Bianca Hernandez, the Site Manager. It was 12 phone calls and not once did I receive a call back. I was polite in my message to her. one tech on a Friday, misinformation given by employees at one site when they sent me, and others, to another site. Terrible service
I waited 3 hrs for an x-ray on my back yesterday and this was the second day I had been at SimonMed for this test. I came another day before Christmas and left as the place was packed. I wasn’t told by my Dr that I needed an appointment. She said I could just walk in for this test. I believe yesterday’s wait happened at the front office desk but, of course they weren’t going to admit that. I believe you need more help and larger wait space. This place is a mess.
The scheduling Department has no idea what they are doing. The mess they're making for the facility that they're scheduling for. Making an appointment for a time they are closed. Not knowing what procedures are done in each facility. The receptionist has to calm the patients down once they realize all the mistakes!!
THE WORSE Pre register. I went on line. Could not get accepted. Called Simon Med. Young man took information via phone. Got email saying I needed to register. Got a password and tried again. Still waiting for confirmation of appointment. Called back asked for supervisor. He said my information was in Their system they just needed my provider information. I gave it to Hi again. RecommendedIt’s the only place Drs send me. I really don’t care for their work. There is always some excuse they give me I suffer from ANXIETY. and I have told them, when I wait too long I am getting more frustrated and I can’t just sit and wait. I get very annoyed. They just don’t understand people with disability. Hopefully they will work on their scheduling to be closer in appointment times. Thank goodness I only go once every 6 months.
After today, I never want to go to a Simon Med again, especially this location. In, April I started getting calls from Simon Med that they received an order from my dr for a follow up mammogram. I went online beginning of May or late April and scheduled one for late May. I took off work and made some other dr appts so I could get things taken care of while I had the day off.
