Has not issued refund for overpaying co-pay. I had an exam on Jan 9, 2023 and paid a $175 co-pay. Received the *** from my insurance and the co-pay should only be $50. I have called SimonMed 5 times over the last 3 months and they tell me everytime to call back in 2 weeks. The last time I called they told me they hadn't received the *** and to call back in 2 weeks. Simon Med charge me a copay for an exam. In less than a month they were paid in full by ********* I have been trying to get a refund of my copay for 5 months. They just say call back in ***** days. I can not get anywhere with them. I believe they need to be investigated because there are so many complaint about this here.

I went to Simonmed for a MRI in January of 2023. This facility overcharged me by ****** and I tried to dispute this amount with the front desk person, however she was unhelpful. Once I verified my EOB with my insurance I found that I only owed the ***** copay not the full amount. I have tried calling them, emailing them and also tried to dispute my cc charge to no avail. ******** Imaging seems to have a hold of the medical imaging market in the Phoenix Metro area. The majority of general care providers and specialist ALL refer here for services. This companies billing practices are unethical and straight up fraudulent. They make patient who have insurance pay upfront for services, bill incorrect co-pays and then give patient the run around when the patient is owed a refund. B*LL*NG SCAM Go to this search "abc15/let *** know/simonmed," * find news reports on a "SIMONMED EMPLOYEE SPEAK*NG OUT" * "PAT*ENTS COVERED BY *NSURANCE BUT TOLD TO PAY". I received a call from SimonMed to reschedule, stating that they needed to delay the imaging until insurance authorization had been completed. I found out later that day that the insurance authorization had already been completed more than a week prior. SMI delayed my imaging for no justifiable reason, delaying treatment updates (stage 4 cancer).

I went to Simon Med Imaging on September 29, 2022 for an x-ray (acct# *****************. ******************** charged me $117.26 at the time of service. They insisted I pay this amount UP FRONT even though I questioned it due to the fact I have insurance. This company is so fraudulent it makes me ill. They told me that my services would not be covered under my insurance and charged me over $1,300. Then they billed my insurance for about $1,700. The discounts and reductions per the agreement with the service company totaled about $1,500. I have contacted them multiple times to get a refund of what they charged me and continue to get a run-around. I even had my insurance company contact them and they are completely non-responsive.
