I was told to come back in 3 hours. Left all the paperwork ready. I come back after the 3 hrs and had to wait another hour and a half. Just for an x ray. Having a person with pneumonia and oxygen dependent sit all that long was very inconsiderate on their behalf. I understand Poinciana has grown and they need mote staff and bigger space.

I sat for 2hrs. waiting for my x-ray. They told me I didn’t have to make an appointment. There weren’t that many people there so I’m wondering why it took so long to get to me. When I finally got to have my x-ray taken, it was great - fast and efficient. But, the wait time ruined my feeling for being there.

Since COVID medical offices are overwhelmed, BUT, this is an imaging center so COVID is NOT an excuse! First of all, some locations do not take appointments for X-rays and some do. Their website doesn't distinguish this fact, so making an appt for an X-ray @ Poinciana is useless, which i did (8:15am)! I checked in @ 8:11am and waited for 3.45 hrs!!! Arrived about 20 minutes earlier than my appointment time, waited in lobby for an hour, finally, ask clerk what’s the hold up on my case, but sent me right away to a dressing/another waiting room, and waited another 30 minutes before a technician came to explain what’s going on. Needless to say, I was furious, mad about them not letting me know in a reasonable amount of time of what’s the hold up. Needless to say, didn’t get my appointment done👎👎👎

Appointment was 2:45 did NOT go in for test until 5:00. They were way over booked. It’s unacceptable to have people wait for tests that long. Why make appointments if you can’t get the job done on time.

SimonMed told me to check in on line,,I did,,when got to appointment they say it did not up load,,was not working. Had to sign in again there, did get in on time,,but the nurse did not have right paper work for me.. wrong person.. Plus no one asked for my mammogram order paper work,,gave it to the nurse. She did not ask my name,birthdate anything,,so yes she pulled up some one else ,, asked if I been there before , I said yes,,she said,,” are you sure”,, I said yes,,this is my 4 th time,, So I preceded to tell her my name... read more

Appointment was for 11:30. The only thing I was having was a chest X-ray. The office girl said I needed a diagnosis on the order that wasn’t on the order. I called the Dr.s office and they were faxing it in 5 minutes. I sat there waiting for 3 hours basically being ignored even after inquiring several times about how long it would be. Desk took forever to check patients in and they had 3 people behind the desk??? I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!
