Don't have your engines leak oil within the first 2000 miles and do only want to do a band aid repair. As a business school grad of PAC - 12 university I am going out to all my mechanic contacts to get the word out the warranty can't hold water. Just ask LKQ what I did to them.
Close the doors and never touch an engine again
S&J rebuilt our boat motor in 2016. On July 5th, 2018, there was an internal explosion within the motor. This led to our boat catching fire and sinking in 200 feet of water. S&J explained that the boat is at the bottom of the ocean and therefore there is nothing they can do related to the warranty on the engine.
I ordered a international 392 rebuilt crate engine.I receive the engine right on time. when I receive the engine I noticed there was a hole in the side of the engine block that S &J had welded up. and tried to hide with paint. I call S & J to address the issue they had admitted to welding up a large hole in the side of the block. told me everything will be just fine sometimes you just have to do that. needless to say I would never recommend anybody doing business with these Wannabe back woods engine builders.
