RecommendedLong story short, my daughter had an ENT scissor cut her tongue tie 3 days after birth bc of latch issues and not gaining weight as she should. She was still having trouble latching at 5 weeks so my LC referred me to Dr. Jaju. The best decision I've ever made and totally worth the 1 hour 45 min drive. Turns out ENT cut in the wrong place and my daughter had a lip tie as well which was never checked by ENT. RecommendedDr Jaju was recommended by our Lactation consultant to release a lip and tongue tie on our newborn. He was not transferring any milk while breastfeeding. She worked with us to diagnose his issues and released his ties. Then continued to work with us until he could successfully latch. She is amazing and truly cares about her patients!
We had a lot of breastfeeding issues with our daughter and Dr. Rishita was recommended by our chiropractor and lactation consultant. Dr. Rishita performed three frenectomies (both lips and tongue) on my 5.5 month old daughter. She was incredible with my daughter and the procedure lasted less than 15 minutes. It was hard to see my baby in pain but in the end it was worth it. She fussed for a couple of hours but almost immediately got the hang of nursing correctly. It is wonderful to have a doctor who understands that a breastfeeding concern is an emergency ! Dr Jaju has sought out the extra training required to become expert in the release of tongue & lip ties. We are so lucky to have her !
