We understand these are different times due to Covid etc, however in hindsight feel that the salesperson could have used better judgment estimating the completion date. The settlement was postponed at least 6 times, causing us to find temporary housing and spend lots of money along with substantial increase in mortgage rates.
I would definitely buy and recommend a home from smith Douglas again ! They communicate well they did run a bit later because of supply shortages but communicated well on that
It was a smooth process, I was informed of all updates in the construction.
We were very happy with the Smith Douglas Team here in Morgan Meadows. I highly recommend the builder's agent Denelle and the construction project manager Mike- they both were personable, answered any questions we had, and addressed any issues that have arisen quickly and professionally. As a realtor, sometimes working in new construction can be a bear- it is like pulling teeth to get any information, updates, and schedules. This was not our experience with Smith Douglas at all.
