This company used a third party company to work in my home without my consent. The agreement and contract was directly with SoCal Climate Control, not with a third party company. I was not aware of this until the company supposedly completed the AC & Heating installation and it was horrible. The work was entirely unprofessional and there were so many mistakes and corrections. Horribe Company,very deceiving and dishonest!my AC was still working and Dough the tech came and broke it comoletely,later,I called Mike Molloy to complain about what the tech did,I explained that I have first premier home warranty policy and I dont pay anything,but he was so rude and bitter and said that I was just trying to get away with not paying the $400 estimate they came up with,I said that I only pay $60 for the house call and everything else is covered,I said I just need to have the unit the way how it was before th... read more

Yes they're very nice come out give you a big presentation bids from 2 to $6,000 replacing my whole Hvac system. SAME DAY LOCAL GUY CHARGED ME $125 TO GO OUT, BUT FIXES EVERYTHING FOR $585. I was told there was a code that necessitated all these expenses, but the second company was able to bypass that and get my system running and then just replaced one bad board.
Screwed us out of over $3000 of rebates. Bought a heat pump system from them because heat pumps are eligible for two large rebates. They failed to claim one rebate, which can only be claimed by the contractor and not the homeowner, and they chose a specific model that is ineligible for the other rebate. We lost out on $3,250 of rebates because of them. Our sales guy was Mike Malloy, who promised us these rebates. Stay away from him at all costs.
Buyer beware of Socal Climate Control, I read the reviews and I thought this was a great company. However, my experience was very unpleasant. First, during the installation, one of their workers damaged my brick wall when they were bringing the air conditioning unit in my backyard. When I confronted the worker about the damage, he lied and claimed he did not do it. estimate was through the roof, 1000.00 to remove a swamp cooler and close the air duct. Technician was suppose to come back up to the door when done he just left, called the company to discuss the estimate and got transferred twice the person I talked to couldnt help me but was suppose to call back, never did. 350.00 for a CRANE to take a normal size swamp cooler down off the house???
