I hate leaving bad reviews but think the health and well-being of my animals come before anything else. We have been long time clients and got our newest pup spayed last month, she has developed what we believe is a hernia and they refuse to look at her today unless we pay for an emergency appointment because they “close at noon” (I called at 8 this morning) and told us to go to twin cities if we felt she needed looked at before they could get her a “routinely scheduled appointment” for tomorrow. . . Terrible!!! Dog ripped a 3 inch gash in belly running thru the woods, I called and told them he needed stitches and I'm coming in. They asked if the afternoon would work ( this was 930am) I said NO WAY, the dog was bleeding, after putting me on hold several minutes they said I could come in now but would be an extra $40. Really? I immediately called Twin Cities and they said to Come Now! The gal that they put on the phone didn't know anything and kept putting me on hold. Will never take my dog here again, or allow anyone I know too. I was floored by how terrible the service/compassion was in this building/staff. Instead I will keep going to Mary in Nikiski, where she cares about the animals wellbeing and NOT the paycheck at the end of the visit �
