I was not impressed with the staff at St. David's Solis Mammography. The parking was difficult and the staff unfriendly. I decided to change venues even though I have gone to St Davids for the last 26 years. I had breast cancer 23 years ago and St David's breast center saved my life. But I didn't feel confident at "souless" mammography. In April of 2025, I completed all the Solis paperwork to transfer my films and records to Baylor Scott & White. I started going to St David's for my mammograms because of the Mammo Mixers they offered, which included breakfast or lunch. St Davids advised me that it was now Solis Mammography, so I've been going there. My 1st mammogram at Solis did not run smoothly because my records didn't seem to transfer from St Davids or maybe that's just what I was told. Care was great for my wife, but It is disconcerting to receive a bill in late Nov. for services provided in early Feb. The bill is small, and will be easily paid, but must wonder whether the Doctors know how poorly their billing group is operating. I went to pay the bill, but thought I should pass along concern about how much time had passed, so took the option to "ask to discuss". but after two attempts and holding for 12 minutes each time, I gave up. These people don't care.

I have gotten my mammograms at St David's Breast Center for 20 years. Solis has taken over and I will not be back. What Used to be a positive experience all the way around with the Breast Center was the complete opposite this time w Solis. Very disappointed.

No way to call this location directly so you must go through a phone tree, speak with curt receptionists, and then be put on endless holds. Spent half an hour on the phone trying to pay for the heart screening. In the end, I left a message because no one picked up the phone (and I don't know where I was transferred to so I can't call back).

Had an MRI here and it took one week to read. Ridiculous and puts the patient at risk. MRI's should and can be read within 48 hrs. Avoid MRI's at StDavid's now that Solis mammography reads them.

I miss the warmth and efficiency I always experienced at St. David's Breast Center. When I called to make my annual appointment, I found the phone tree was extensive and time-consuming. I finally talked with someone who wasn't even in the same area and had to ask what location I would go to. Unfortunately, she failed to inform me that the Breast Center had MOVED, a fact I discovered only after I had arrived at the wrong parking garage on the day of my appointment. Solis took over St. David's Breast Center and ruined what was a fantastic medical office. They have done something odd with the billing. I haven't been able to talk to anyone who can explain the multiple bills, one arrived 3 months after my routine mammogram. That never happened when it was St David's Breast Center and I went there for over 20 years. The previous staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone I've talked to now is rushed, brisk, eager to end the call. They don't care that they haven't answered my questions... read more

2 weeks after my mammogram I had no results. I called and was told it would be reviewed. I have had mammograms for 20 years now and have never had to call to get someone to review them. no one should wait that long, especially someone that has higher risk of breast cancer.
