Solis took over for Memorial's mammography center. It is not the same. I averaged out the check in staff with the nurse who did my exam. Let's just say...the guy who checked my insurance, license, etc said only one word to me. I asked him how he was and he said "Good". What hospitality. He got up and just points to where I sit down to leave his office. Unreal. On the other hand, the nurse Kati was great. I've been going to MHW for years for my mammograms. Parking can sometimes be an issue where you have to either valet or self park in the parking garage and take a hike. I got lucky on the day that I went and was able to park right outside of the Radiology entrance. I prefer early Saturday morning appointments (around 8ish) so that I'm in and out and can enjoy the rest of my day. Keep in mind that whatever time you select, you have to be there 15 min before that time to check in. I've never had an issue with this location... read more

Staff from the security, reception, medical records, and finance were all professional and kind. We got there an hour earlier than my appointment but I was processed quickly. Inside the actual imaging area, the women's waiting room was comfortable. Pilar did my ultrasound. She was so sweet. She did a fantastic job as I didn't have much pain during the test. I hope I get her again! Overall, while this location is very busy, I was pleased with everything. Pro-tip: Try to get as much of the paperwork done online as possible.... read more

This is a beautiful and caring facility. A lot if care is taken into account to maintain dignity. I couldn't be happier with the support of getting a breast exam. It has been years since I had one and I recently encountered a scare. Life is short! Get your exam done. Don't wait. Remember the phrase one and done? Well, don't do just one, but one and done refers to the exam itself.

They bought out Women's Radiology and didn't follow up to reschedule the appointments as promised they canceled last month. Today I find out they don't accept Humana insurance. This company is prejudice about women who are of retired age & on Medicare. This means they are all about the money; totally pathetic!

Arrived for an 11 am appointment at Memorial West. 8 people in waiting room and some have been waiting 2 hours already. Ultrasound backed up by over 2 hours. Prepare to take an entire day off of work to get screened here.

Just visited the new Memorial West Solis Mammogram Center for the first time. Definitely not the same experience as before. From the moment I walked in the front door, check in, registration, etc. Employees are cold and not welcoming as before. This annual experience is not necessarily a pleasant one for women. Now add this environment into the mix, questioning if I'll be back. My technician was the same. Not friendly at all. I always had the same lovely technician in the past. I hope the tech today got good images ... read more

Solis now runs the women's imaging center at Memorial Hospital. Beware of the charges. I was quoted a "facilty charge" that was more than what an ultrasound costs and much more than the mammogram copay. This should be illegal but it's not and there are no regulations or limits. I ended up changing to another women's imaging center in the area and only had to pay my $40 co-pay and not hundreds of dollars. Just beware.
