Cleanliness - the staff is who supposed to clean my mom's room, it's not always cleaned. The room size is perfect and the facility is nice because it small so residents can get around easier. Nice cozy facility nurses could be more helpful, the activities people and kitchen ladies are great also!
The facility felt very much "like a home" not an institution. The exec director and onboarding staff were sensitive to my father's level/abilities, his interests & wishes. They both walked us through an understanding of all that the facility had to offer especially the aspects that were important to my father.

My husband suffered a very intense stroke leaving him without the use of his arms and legs. After participating in several rehab programs without great improvements Somata decided to give him the opportunity to live a somewhat normal life. He is mentally aware of his surroundings but definitely needs help in his everyday activities. With their help he is adjusting beautifully! After a short time he now calls Sonata his home!

Sonata Delray Beach is a clean place, very friendly staff, they really care about residents. The food that they serve is very good. My sister looks forward to bingo and exercise class. I wish it wasn't so expensive, but seems to be in line with most other places we looked at. We chose it because of location to us and we loved the outside garden area. We also like that it wasn't so large and overwhelming to my sister, so she could find her way around better.
Our family had an in person tour and it was very nice, the community was very clean and the gentlemen who took us on the tour was very informative and kind.

The community is smaller than most and I like that they receive more personalized care. The community is kept neat and clean and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
They were personal things that I was not favorable about. I had a problem with them not accommodating the request to place my loved on the first floor. This is because he wouldn't know how to access the first floor, due to his memory loss. My loved one was getting upset because he kept setting alarms off, and felt it was disturbing others. The loved one was always trying to be personable. He was always offering to help in the dining room, as he doesn't want to have others waiting on him. We brought my mother to a place with the friendliest staff in the world! They were all so nice it didn't seem real,but it was both real and genuine. The staff was so caring and professional,that they turned a really hard experience,into something both warm and nice. Every single person was a blessing and i will be forever grateful to that staff! A++++ and no i don't work there LOL
