Best place we have ever been to to tube the river and camp
Not very happy with the description of private beach access and fishing dock when it was a 7 foot drop off. I had my handicapped father visiting hoping he could enjoy the water but he was not capable of walking all the way to the other side to get into the water. Some of the cabanas have actual ways to walk into the water ours did not. My father never made it into the water. We were greeted with a beautiful smile from a nice young lady and we’re very pleased with everything from the cleanliness of the grounds to the nicely furnished cabanas
Love family gathering place! Water is clear and shallow enough to wade or sit and relax. I would visit again, maybe on weekday to avoid over crowding at each picnic table. Seems you better enjoy very loud tejano music since people force it on you at high volume. I wanted sounds of nature and laughter, not loud music. But that’s me! All in all it’s a great place and I’ll be back.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.Tent was clean and very much sufficient for us. Air conditioner worked great as well. We will definitely be back with friends!
Been to other Sons resorts and love them all and this did not disappoint. Stayed overnight in glamping tent, rented cabana during day. Had a great day.
This is our 2nd year in a row going to Son’s Blue River and we just love it! Great staff! Great River!
this was my second stay there. We were in cabin six the air condition rattled during the night. I think I prefer the two queens instead of the one queen so I’ll know that for in the future. I was disappointed to find that the umbrellas and lounge chairs are no longer set up along the shoreline of the river. Luckily, we did bring chairs with us. The staff is always is very helpful and the facilities clean. All in all, it was a very nice stay.. I know y’all can’t do anything about the flies lol.
We really enjoyed our stay! I would definitely plan on another trip and staying with y’all. I would recommend during the summer to have at least two people working at registration and shuttling as long as there are guests in the park. Poor guys were hustling though and even one man was off but stepped up to help out the one working to shuttle us to the drop off. Your staff was always friendly and very helpful!
