We have had a great experience with South OC Pool Service and Repair. We were having issues with our pool heater and even after about 4 visits from our regular pool maintenance guy , we had no answers! Steve contacted me to say he sent me a text on Tuesday explaining he lost an employee and was overworked, so couldn't get to the work soon. I didn't get the text because it was sent to my land line as Steve didn't realize I didn't call him from a cell phone. I'm sure we both regret the confusion. Jim

So, you want work done on your pool? Don't look anywhere else. I used them to upgrade my pump. Steve is one of the best out there. Go ahead, shop around but you'll be back. He is very knowledgeable and really cares about doing a great job. He just put in a new Pentair Intelliflow VS2 pump for me and upgraded my controller to a iAqualink wireless controller. Price was fair, installation was clean and the attention to detail configuring the whole system was beyond measure.

Contacted South OC pools for my spa, answered phone right away. Scheduled with them to look at my spa was able to make it out the next day. Within a few minutes the problem was diagnosed (control panel, and pump) they were able to order the parts for me and had my spa up and running. I am very pleased and impressed to do business with them and will refer them to family and friends. Awesome job guys. Thank you again.

After years of taking care of the pool ourselves with no success, I called Steve to treat our algae bloom infestation. He came out the same day and fixed it. We were so pleased that we hired him to maintain the pool. No more headaches! He runs an honest, reliable business and his prices are reasonable.

I have been using the services of Steve for almost a year now since we moved into our new home. He has taken good care of our pool and just recently had him install a brand new pool pump. He took the time to ensure that the pump was running properly despite some of the challenges he encountered. Every time I notify him of any pool issues that I feel anxious about, he is always quick to respond with answers.

I was looking for a pool guy and called south OC pools. Honestly I just liked the name, but Steve was just the guy I needed to clean my pool. He showed up when he said he would and ran through my pool equipment and cleaned my pool in a timely manner very efficiently. He recommended a couple things for my pool equipment to run more efficiently and it made sense so he's upgrading my old pool equipment. Beware!!! I would be very cognizant when using this vendor. Our pool has had too many problems under the care of South OC Pool Service. When we finally contacted a new vendor he was very knowledgeable and informative about what was going on, and without knowing who the previous pool vendor was, he stated that whomever was caring for our pool was just lazy because all of our problems were easy fixes.
