The Marathon Lite sod is fantastic . I have 2 acres of grass I maintain. The new root backing is GREAT. It is Lighter, thinner & the edges don't burn out .

My client had an issue with the sod that was perfectly installed in November but currently showed signs of stress. Marathon Sales Rep Norman met with my customer and professionally reviewed the situation. He provided information and expertise to correct the situation to the satisfaction of my customer. The new marathon II lite is a game changer! 1) about half the weight of traditional soil sod 2) no netting 3) roots start growing almost immediately

My sod came on a very unfortunate circumstance, shortly after delivery it started to rain for two days. By time I was able to lay it had started to mildew and rot. When it was down it looked terrible. Hoping it might recover I gave it a week and it got worse. I called Southland and they were very compassionate. By time all was said and done Southland replaced the entire order. I offered to split the cost of replacement but Norm, a really great guy at Southland said no, we’re going to make you whole!
Southland Sod Farms did very good by me and my family. John our sales rep was very willing to speak to me on multiple occasions to help me with my needs as I'm not a professional landscaper, just a homeowner with a DIY project. We ordered sod a little over 3 years ago and unfortunately had some issues in both front and back yards. I called John again and spoke to him about the issues. Thank you for having Renato visit my home. He was out over a year ago and made suggestions that really improved my yard’s appearance. Your fertilizer really made a difference. I called again because I was still struggling in a large shady area. The grass was thin and patchy. Renato noticed immediately that I was watering too much and the ground was spongy. He showed me a trick to tell when the soul is too moist. The personal service provided by Renato and Southland is amazing! Thank You!!

My landscaper ordered my Marathon 2 Sod through Whittier Fertilizer and it was delivered in excellent condition. My soil was leveled and fertilized with the starter fertilizer and was ready for the new Marathon Sod. The landscaping crew made the installation look easy and the results were awesome.
