Services were good but we came from Tucson and we were a 15 min late and they cut a massage dwon from 60 to 25 without letting us know.
Unfortunately, it was not as expected. We booked months in advance for a girlfriends 40th birthday celebration and when we arrived they did not have the birthday girl's appointment scheduled. This was frustrating after confirming several times prior to the bid day! Also the front desk girl, didn't seem to be very sorry. The masseuse was awesome and so was the mineral pool. Very relaxing. However, the waitress staff could have been more efficient. The quality of your Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio was poor. No Michelob Ultra available.
The dry sauna wasn't working. I was looking forward to the Eucalyptus too. I asked an attendant a couple times, who checked it and said that she would let the manager know , but it never got up and running the four hours I was there. The staff was kind and everything else was nice.
The massage was nice. As for the spa itself, it was dated and small. The locks did not work on the lockers because they were old (per the staff). The relaxation room was small and noisy. The only spa pool was a small mineral pool that has very limited seating. I basically had my massage and left because the pool was extremely crowded and there was no chair or lounger available. Overall the spa was ok. My massage was ok. Not as good as I've had in the past. Very light and not at all benifical. Somewhere in the process, I got some bites and that evening when I returned home to Scottsdale (I'm a resident) I had welts that itched. I still don't know If I got them at the mineral pool or where in the Salon. I will not be coming back
While Diane, the technician was wonderful the services advertised were not all provided as I was told they were out of paraffin for the paraffin treatment, which I was really looking forward to. There was no offer of anything in lieu of nor was anything deducted from the price. Overall, I would say nice, but extremely overpriced, especially when all of the components of the treatment are not available as advertised.
I was quite disappointed with the Sacred Nature treatment. I was expecting more massage and more facial work done. The SPA premises are amazing. The lady who served me and my husband was very nice and professional but the treatment didn't achieve our expectations. It was very expensive in comparison with other spa treatments as well and therefore we won't be returning to this spa.
