RecommendedI am a brand new K9 Handler and the vet can be a stressful trip for me and my k9 partner but they were incredibly accommodating and supportive. They listened to my concerns with care and provided excellent recommendations and got his treatment figured quickly. On top of that we finished a long night shift just before and they squeezed us in early to get us on the road home much sooner. RecommendedWe LOVE this vet! We originally started going here because they see exotic pets, put have since transferred our dogs there. They are always so great! Quick to get an appointment if there are concerns. Affordable. Never feel rushed by the vet, and she really listens to all your questions. There are a whole bunch of veterinary clinics closer to my home, but I will happily make the 30 minute drive to receive the care here. Thanks Soanaway Veterinary!!
RecommendedI have a dog who gets very scared when going to a vet which I didn’t think was all that uncommon but I took him to another vet in Tacoma and apparently they don’t know handle a scared dog, lets just say it was a horrible experience but at the Spanaway clinic they showed a lot of compassion and knew how to talk to my dog in a way that seemed to calm him a bit, I was able to get him neutered without any issues. Together we came up with a couple ideas that really seemed to help him. Very grateful
RecommendedWe found two kittens in the dumpster of our apartment a couple months ago. We saved them! A boy (Billy Boots) and a girl (Silly Slippers). The vet we went to originally said they wouldn’t fix them until 6 months… well… Silly Slippers went into her first heat at 5 months!!!! And we live in a STUDIO!!! RecommendedI have brought my cat here for treatment since she was about 3 months old, she is now 2 years old. Her spay surgery and all of her shots have been done here. They are so sweet on my very scared kitty when she gets her checkups. The tech working with us at her last visit gave her Churu to help calm her down a little. They are very thorough in their record keeping, after every appointment I get to see what vaccines and tests are due next visit. Thank you Spanaway Vet for taking care of my Winnie!
